Working at Height
Safety Standby Cover

The Working at Height Regulations came into force in 2005. Every operation involving the risk of exposure to height needs to be properly planned and controlled and provision made for immediate emergency recovery of a fallen or incapacitated worker.
If there is an accident, casualties can be left suspended in difficult to reach situations. These represent, highly dangerous, time critical incidents and operators must ensure an effective emergency plan and rescue solution is available on site before work starts.
Safety Standby Services offer a range of working at height rescue services packaged to meet your exact requirements, whether you are:
Working in Restraint - working close to an edge and tethered to prevent a fall
Work Positioning - hanging in tension from a system off the ground
Working with Fall Arrest Protection - working on a structure or access system but tethered in case you fall.
The training and equipment required is very specialised and it is often simpler for a contractor to use a specialist service to manage this aspect of their workforce protection.
Specialist Skills
Safety Standby Services have the ability to combine working at height safety cover for access to highly specialised activities such as over water, into confined spaces or off engineering structures.
It is our ability to combine skills to protect from multiple hazards that make us unique.
We can rig systems and manage access to provide access for non specialist personnel required to work position for inspection, maintenance or TV and film work.
