Safety Standby is a trading brand of Spartan Rescue Ltd. We have supported both the Police and Fire and Rescue Service for a number of years and have in place a gateway arrangement with Northampton Fire and Rescue Service for UK wide Fire Service access to our teams and equipment.

With a range of specialist off road equipment, welfare assets, Aireshelta fleet, boat and flood teams and working at height rescue teams in place. We provide 24/7 cover to the UK Police EMS and FRS communities through our gateway arrangement.

Based in the East Midlands we have national reach and can deploy across the UK.

We have extensive experience in supporting category 1 responders at protracted or unusual events raging from:

Flooding
Disruptive weather
Misper searching
Body, vehicle and evidence recovery from water
Protestor removal
Officer safety

We have conducted over 500 body recoveries from across the Uk on behalf of various Police services and are very well versed in all aspects of DVRI and crime scene operations. All our teams are highly trained and have advanced CRB checks.

We are also very experienced trainers under the Rescue 3 scheme and can deliver every level of water, flood and working at heights training in line with FRS standards. We are unique in having a combination of extensive training and operational experience as an external provider.

We offer a range of technical and operational support solutions to the Fire and Rescue Community.
